Downloads:

As a distributor, we receive only a portion of the sale price from download shops. These payouts vary by shop. For instance, iTunes pays us about €0.71 for a song priced at €0.99. This amount can fluctuate due to factors like different taxation and pricing across countries.

Streams:

Determining earnings per stream is even less precise than for downloads. It varies significantly based on factors such as the streaming country and the listener’s subscription type.
