3.5 Does iGroove deliver to Beatport?

Yes, iGroove offers the possibility to distribute music to Beatport. However, there are several limitations compared to other stores. The most important criterion is that Beatport specializes entirely in electronic music. Therefore, it is mainly suitable for DJs and producers, but not for rap, pop, or rock releases. Beatport also decides which releases they want to offer and which they do not.

To check whether your releases are suitable for Beatport, you must first fill out this form. You can choose whether you want to make your releases available through the iGroove label (free of charge) or whether you want to register your own label for a one-time fee.

Once your label profile has been set up by Beatport, your previous releases can be delivered. For future releases, you can then select Beatport directly when creating the release.

Please note that Beatport reserves the right to remove releases from the shop that have sold little or none over a longer period. iGroove has no influence on this.

3.4 How do I submit my release for the charts?

In Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, registration for the charts is automatically done and free of charge upon release through iGroove.

We are currently working to enable automatic registration in other countries as well.

3.3 Where can I find the store links for my release?

Once your release has been successfully delivered to the stores and is available, you will receive an email with the links to the shops as well as your personal link site. The link site summarizes the links for all shops on one page and contains your individual URL.

For example: https://lnk.site/tiny-desk-concerts

You can also find your link site, including all store links, in your account. To do this, click on the menu item “Tools” -> “Link Site”.

3.2 How long does it take for my songs to be available in the stores?

The duration until release in stores varies and can range from one to two days and two to three weeks (for smaller shops). This depends on the respective shops and their processes.

We recommend registering your release with us at least two weeks before the planned release date. If you wish to pitch the release or set up a pre-sale/pre-save, this should be done even earlier. For example, releases must be delivered to Spotify at least five days before the planned release date to ensure availability on the desired day.

We deliver releases daily from Monday to Friday. If a release is registered before 2 pm (Central European Time), it will be delivered on the same day.

3.1 How do I check the delivery status of my release?

To check the delivery status of your release, log in to your account and navigate to the relevant release under “Products.” From there, click on the “Music Stores” menu item to access a detailed overview of deliveries to the shops you have selected. Additionally, you will receive an email notification after successful delivery to the shops.
